How are applications evaluated/judged?
Applications will be evaluated primarily for their essays, which are worth 80% of the total score. The other 20% will be based on community service and participation in school, community or agricultural activities.Evaluation Criteria:
Sponsor is the sole judge of the Eligibility, Evaluation Criteria and the interpretation and application of the Official Rules and Regulations.

- Essay of 500 words or less on “My Future In Cotton.” Essay should focus on personal goals and aspirations. Essays in excess of 500 words will be disqualified and not read.

- 20% Grammatical, spelling and punctuation accuracy

- Participation or leadership in school and community activities, including agricultural organizations, or active participation in agricultural production.
